"T.K. is the best trainer I have ever had and since he’s my 6th over the years of my trying to get into shape, I can say that emphatically. I started off with 24.2% body fat and 125.2 lbs. when I signed up for TK on the 1st of October. I currently weigh 113 lbs. and have 17.4% body fat and that was measured on January 15! So I lost 12.2 lbs. and 6.8% body fat in 3 months! And this wasn’t the kind of weight loss that would come back a month later. This is permanent!! And this is significant because I am a mother of two and with two pregnancies; my body has been literally stretched to its limits. With that being said, the jeans I used to wear when I got married (when I thought I was at my best weight and body fat %), they are now loose! I recently wore the same bikinis that I wore on my honeymoon and I look better than I looked when I was actually on my honeymoon 7 years ago!
However, my transformation wasn’t reached by just being in the gym – in fact that was just 10% of my journey. 90% was my diet – and this is where TK helped me the most. He had me document what I ate on a regular basis, studied it and came up with an overall outline of what my diet ought to look like (I’m a vegetarian so protein isn’t a regular part of my diet – thus he had me add protein shakes and high protein yogurt to add lots of much needed protein to my diet!) and transformed my diet 180 degrees. Please keep in mind that I intensely dislike protein shakes and that chalky tasting yogurt he has me eat but no one said weight loss was easy. Suck it up and don’t complain is the attitude I live by. So, the combination of my renewed diet and my intense workouts in the gym (both with TK and without – I worked out an hour with him immediately followed by 15 minutes of cardio; that was 3 days a week and the remaining 3 days a week, I did interval training for 30 minutes. I would’ve loved to work out an hour everyday for 6 days a week but with two small children under 3, that wasn’t really possible so I kept to 30 minutes of INTENSE interval training.)
All this being said -- there is one thing you NEED to do if you want to lose weight, get stronger, tone, build muscle, lose that belly fat, lose that butt, lose those flabby arms…you NEED to LISTEN to what TK has to say TO THE LETTER. I did and you can read and SEE the results. He is so good I have recommended him to my father who is a heart patient and is in dire need to lose weight. I hope he signs up with TK and I hope you do as well!!"

In April 2018 I went to the Dr for my annual checkup which included extensive blood work. When the results came back I was borderline or high on so many things she diagnosed me with metabolic syndrome and told me if I continue on the path that I was on she would be writing me several prescriptions, I told her that is not what I wanted and asked what I needed to do, she said lose about 50 lbs, and said OK, I can do that. I was already tracking my eating somewhat, but not exercising. After the appointment I started going to the gym, started with the elliptical which I could only do 5 mins, but I went back the next day and did 10 mins on the elliptical and kept going until I got up to an 1 hour on the elliptical. From Apr 2018 to Dec 2018, I did cardio everyday, because I didn't know anything about weights and was afraid because I didn't want to hurt myself and not be able to workout
at all. By Dec 2018 I had gotten to a place where I felt stagnant and wanted to go to the next level. I knew the gym had trainers but didn't know much about them, I knew wanted someone that would challenge me, so I asked them who would they recommend and they recommended TK Bluitt. I started working out with TK Dec 2018. When I first started
with TK, he looked at my nutrition and changed all of it. So I started logging everything that I ate, which made me more conscious, because I knew I would have to send him my food logs every month. He definitely challenges me in my thinking and in my workouts every single time. When I first started I was convinced that I couldn't do push-ups,
sit-ups, lift weights but he challenged all of it and showed me that I could. He took my measurements in Mar 2019 then in Aug 2019. I had lost 14 lbs and 29.5 inches overall. My clothes size starting out was plus size 18/20 I am now in my pre-children size 12 over a year later. Overall I have lost a total of 73 lbs in 1 yr and 6 months. But my journey is not over, there is more to come. Thank you Mr. Trainer Man!!! I can tell you, if you do what he says, which I know it can suck sometimes and implement what he teaches you on your own, you will get the results you desire.

"I once weighed 303 lbs just a year ago, had a size 54" waist, and was very much out of shape. After doing a number of low caloric diets and some very long cardio workout routines, I just couldn’t keep my weight down. I just kept roller cosatering up and down. For every pound lost, I gained one and half back. For example, I went from 271 lbs to 245 lbs and then gained it all back plus some, weighing just over 300 lbs. So, I decided to totally change my lifestyle and attend a High Intensity Interval Training class and that's where I met TK and my life changed.
TK taught me more than I was expecting. He pushed me to keep a food log based on my proportions of proteins/carbs/fats and not just the amount of calories eaten. While TK cannot make you lose weight, he can give you the tools needed to adjust your thinking and if you are willing to do the food logs, maintain your caloric intake, strength train and do cardio on a regular basis, you too can have great success and satisfaction. For me personally, allowing me to pace myself built my confidence up for the long haul. I now weigh 228 lbs and the weight is not fluctuating up and down. Working with TK gives you permananet results and a better attitude towards life."

I started working with TK in the the spring when he took over as the trainer for a men's class at the Frisco Athletic Center. It has been a great experience working with TK. "Getting fit and healthy has been a process for me. I started slowly by going to a hip hop class once a week with a friend, and gradually added 3 and 4 differet classes per week. The other days I began coming to the gym on my own to do cardio. After several months of this, I had lost about 22 pounds.
Then at the end of February my friend told me she signed us up for a small group class with a personal trainer! My first response was, “You did what!?” but then I said let’s do it! I loved TK’s class immediately because it was definitely a challenge, and I could tell his program would help me reach my goal. He helps me continue to improve my diet, learn proper form for weight lifting, and is always encouraging and supportive of my progress. I used to be at the back of the pack in class, but after only a month of training I gained enough confidence and strength to keep up with the rest. "I came to TK looking for help with strengthening my shoulder. However, after a couple butt whoopings, I realized I had more to condition than just my shoulder. Being a volleyball player, my shoulder was constantly being used and I was diagnosed with bicep and rotator cuff tendonitis along with a shoulder impingement. I thought I couldn't do most of the things TK had me doing, but with his constant reassurance that he did in fact know what he was doing and he was right there in case I needed assistance, I was able to push past my limitations and strengthen my shoulder. During my season, I had no pain whatsoever in my shoulder while I was hitting. With the full body conditioning, I also became the quickest player on the team, and had the best endurance. My vertical increased greatly and I became a stronger player overall. When my season came to an ending I was honored with the title of "Offensive Player of the Year". This is an award voted on by the other coaches in the district and given to the best hitter. I also received MVP for my team. I honestly could not have been as successful this season without the help of TK. He strengthened my shoulder and enhanced my skills as a volleyball player. Without him, I would not be as physically fit as I am today."

Our son Luke started training with T.K. about 18 months ago after he suffered a traumatic brain injury due to lack of oxygen to the brain for 7 minutes caused by blood clots at the base of his lungs. He had lost a lot of his motor skills, balance, and athletic abilities. When he started with T.K. he couldn't stand on one foot, control any balance, lift any weights due to tremors in arms, run with any speed, favored one side of his body due to rigidity or obtain any coordination due to the injury.
T.K. focused initially on rebuilding Luke’s core strength and then focused on each area to support his balance and strength. Luke has made major improvements in his recovery physically all attributed to T.K and his efforts. He can now lift free weights with out supervision, has learned to run, jump, swim, balance himself, and show no signs of favoring one side during a session. He has lost almost all of the tremors due to finite focus from T.K. and his training.
Luke has enjoyed every moment of training with T.K. and looks forward to his sessions each week. We owe T.K. a great deal of gratitude for what he has done with taking a personal interest in Luke’s recovery. If you are considering a personal trainer to help reach your goals make T.K. After moving to Frisco, I gained over 20 pounds and suffered from lower back pain. I started going to the local gym and saw TK working with people there. I was a little intimidated, not feeling I was physically fit enough to train with him. One morning I woke up after a night of severe lower back pain and handfuls of pain killers, I decided to sign up and give TK a try.
I told him my issues and he reassured me we would take it one step at a time. He worked diligently with me to ensure I was doing the exercises correctly and not hurting myself. That's when I figured out that I wasn't seeing results before because I was not working out correctly, not strengthening my body, and probably had been making my condition worse.
TK works with me on my nutrition and eating as well, not just an exercise routine. I feel I've gained not only physical strength and stamina, but knowledge too. Because of TK's help, I've built up strength and confidence to try other activities I would have shied away from before. I've dropped two dress sizes and my BMI is down 8%.
TK's not just a personal trainer, but he's a friend who truly cares enough to help you get to a healthier place in your life.

"I started working out on my own shortly after having my 2nd child. I lost some weight but had reached a plateau and after 2 years I was not continuing to see results. I was a little nervous about training with TK because I had seen him put his clients through some tough looking sessions, but I wanted someone who could help me boost my workout and reach a new level. I quickly found out he is an excellent judge of my abilities and he proved to me I am much stronger than I ever thought. As I lifted heavier weights I began to build muscle and see definition, not bulk and I continued to trim down.
Not only has TK taught me how to weight train and exercise properly he has also made sure that I understood the importance of diet. He has taught me that as I build muscle I can up my calories, without fear of weight gain as long as they are the right type of calories. I owned a membership to the gym for 14 months before I decided that I needed something more than good intentions to actually motivate me to walk through the gym doors. I had, at this point, only stepped foot twice inside the doors to pay for my membership. I decided a personal trainer would get me there and motivate me to not hit snooze 10 or 15 times each morning. I began with T.K. on July 8, 2011. I am happy to report that T.K. has kept me on track with perfect attendance (no sleep-ins). I had not realized when I hired T.K. that it was more than just making it to the gym. He has worked with me to change the way I live with the biggest impact on realizing what I put into my mouth. I have lost 20+ pounds and several inches. T.K. could give you the exact number as he gets more excited about it than I do, I have no clue. I can say that I have met my goal plus received so much more than JUST getting to the gym, I can actually tie my shoes now without straining and puffing like a chain smoker.
